freedoms aren’t the issue. on TikTok owned by ByteDance, TikTok owned by Oracle, or X owned by Musk, in the US you can say what you want. it’s how the algorithm will shape what you and others see, and how it will spy, that is at issue. and on that, all of the above are comparably bad.
